The Department of Islamic History and Arts deals with the historical process of the religion of Islam from its birth to the present day. In this section, the main political, social, cultural, literary and artistic events that took place in Islamic history are examined, and pre-Islamic Arab society, the birth of Islam, the period of the four caliphs and other Muslim states are discussed. The institutions established by Muslims throughout history and the Islamic scientific and cultural tradition are also researched in this section.
